KVIE Ready to Learn

About
Ready To Learn is dedicated to improving the school readiness of young children through the reach of public broadcasting and extensive outreach services including workshops for parents, childcare providers and other early childhood professionals as well as the distribution of free children’s books.

Programming
6 1/2 hours of quality children's programming weekdays at KVIE, helps prepare children for school by teaching reading readiness and social skills.

Workshops
FREE hands-on workshops provide interactive opportunities for parents, teachers and caregivers to become familiar with the Ready to Learn Program.

Community Partners
By aligning ourselves with a variety of community based organizations, KVIE is able to reach a larger share of its target audience.

PBS Kids Ready To Learn
The PBS Ready To Learn Service is a nationwide effort using free universally available children's educational television, online and print resources and community outreach to help parents and educators prepare young children for success in school.
