TV As A Learning Tool

In this introductory workshop, participants learn how to take control of the TV in their children’s lives. Participants explore Ready To Learn by using program clips, engaging in hands-on activities, and reading books. This workshop focuses on ways to become a critical viewer and teach this skill to children. Participants will also learn how to use KVIE children’s television programming to supplement such critical life skills as social/emotional and cognitive development.
